The fund raiser was attended by 18 dinner guests. Prior to the dinner participants were able to not only participate in the cooking at the residence, but actually join the cook, Naomi Moriyama, in shopping for the necessary ingredients to prepare the health conscious Japanese meal. Prior to dinner, there were short presentations of the important work being done by this not for profit group. The event took place in the beautiful residence of the gracious hosts, the Ambassador and his wife, who made every effort to make the guests feel welcome and appreciated.
